PORTLAND SKETCH COMEDY FESTIVAL The Portland Sketch Comedy Festival began in the summer of 2017, and each year showcased Portland's bright and beautiful sketch comedy scene and brought the smartest and freshest sketch comedy performances from all over the country to Portland.
The Siren Theater is thrilled to return to the festival for its sixth year. This year brings three nights of sketch comedy from different acts representing different cities across North America. There is nothing quite like live sketch comedy.

CANTERBURY FAIRE Canterbury Renaissance Faire is an invitation to participate in an imaginative interactive environment modeled on elements from a plausible Summer Market Faire from the era of “Good Queen Bess” (Elizabeth I, 1558-1603). We see it create an interactive stage where faire goers can experience the sights and sounds, science, entertainments, crafts and life styles of Elizabethan Village Folk celebrating the best of their village life.

CLATSOP COUNTY FAIR The Clatsop County Fair is a cherished, family-friendly event that highlights the unique treasures of our community and brings together residents and visitors alike! Each year, vendors, entertainers, musicians, and participants are excited to return. This year's Fair theme is "Forest to the Farm". The outdoor concert under the stars on Friday, August 2nd will be Joe Nichols with special guest, Kassi Ashton. Saturday, August 3rd will be Latino Night with 512 The Selena Experience (a Selena tribute band) taking the outdoor stage with La Super Sonora Dinamita as the opening act.

SNEAKERWEEK PDX From the minds behind Pensole, a footwear design school in Portland’s Old Town Chinatown neighborhood, Sneaker Week curates organic experiences that bring together sneaker enthusiasts, industry influencers, and aspiring creative professionals to Portland, the sneaker capital of the world. Sneaker Week partners with the footwear industry and community to cultivate talent while celebrating creatives.
Sneaker Week is a celebration of all things sneakers in the footwear capital of North America. Curators, fans and collectors will gather to experience music, design, art and education at locations around Portland. Past festival partners have included hip local businesses, like Deadstock Coffee, and Index PDX.

AMERICANA HARVEST FESTIVAL Topaz Farm is excited to announce the 2024 Americana Harvest Fest series. After last year's series, they are taking it up a notch (or two) for 2024 with a mix of nationally and internationally known folk, country, and bluegrass artists on Thursday nights late June through August. Adult tickets are $20 most nights, and all Thursday nights will feature a limited number of 50% off tickets for kids ages 3 to 17 (and free for ages two and under – no tickets required).

LENTS INTERNATIONAL FARMERS MARKET The Lents International Farmers Market (LIFM) is the only one in Portland with an intentional international focus. LIFM provides fresh, affordable and culturally appropriate produce to the diverse community of Lents neighbors. Founded in 2006 by a community of volunteers and then run by Zenger Farm, it is an important sales outlet for immigrant and new farmers and small food-business owners. The market features culturally specific products, including Northwest-grown traditional Mexican produce and Asian greens. |

STERNWHEELER RIVER TOURS This once primary mode of transportation has become more of a fun commodity for tourism, as river cruise ships provide visitors a chance to get out on the water and take in the sights of their new surroundings. Oregon joined in on the trend in the early 1980s. Since then, several non-steam-powered sternwheel riverboats have been built and operated on major waterways in the state, primarily on the Willamette and Columbia Rivers in Marion County. Each is a fun ride for visitors and locals alike as they seemingly tug along and transport them to yesteryear.

THIS WEEKS HIKE: FOREST PARK At 5,100 acres (2,064 ha), Forest Park boasts more than 80 miles (129 km) of paths and is one of the largest urban forests in the United States. On any given day, you’ll find trail runners, dog walkers, families and outdoor enthusiasts enjoying every inch of Forest Park. With clearly marked trails and paths in every direction, you can explore this urban oasis from any of its 40 access points.

HIKE - MULTNOMAH FALLS TRAIL Experience this 2.3-mile out-and-back trail near Bridal Veil, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challengi...ng route, it takes an average of 1 h 30 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

PORTLAND SATURDAY MARKET Combining the vibes of an art show, a live street concert and an open-air bazaar, the Portland Saturday Market has been a beloved Rose City tradition since 1974. In fact, the market is considered the largest continually operating arts-and-crafts fair in the United States, drawing up to one million visitors during its annual season. |

ST JOHN'S FARMERS MARKET The St. Johns Farmers Market will be open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. every Saturday May 4 through November 23, the weekend before Thanksgiving. There will also be a Holiday Market on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The market is held at the corner of N. Charleston Ave. and N Central St, next to the St. Johns Bachelor Club.
The 2024 season has a full vendor roster, including new and returning small businesses spanning local, sustainably-grown agriculture, artisan food, and handmade arts and crafts, Some exciting new products at the market this year include organically grown vegetables and quail eggs from Tiny Acre, a St. Johns-based small scale organic farm; breakfast burritos from Poblano Pepper Mexican Food; and plant-based, farmer-forward pastries and treats from Poppy Shop. Vendors sell their hand made and original designs. |
