Here is the current market report for July 2023 for the Greater Portland area.

Despite the challenges, the residential real estate market in July 2023 showed signs of resilience and potential for growth. While new listings, pending sales, and closed sales experienced slight declines, the active inventory increased by 10.3%, indicating a healthy supply of properties. Moreover, the days on the market improved by 0.8%, suggesting properties were selling relatively faster. Additionally, the 1.0% decrease in average sale price could be seen as an opportunity for buyers to find more affordable housing options. Overall, these positive trends in the market create an optimistic outlook for both buyers and sellers, fostering a balanced and dynamic real estate landscape.
