Nike renamed its roughly 400-acre World Headquarters campus near Beaverton the 'Philip H. Knight Campus' in honor of co-founder Phil Knight.

Intel filed a WARN notice to lay off another 669 workers at its Washington County sites, including 501 in Hillsboro, by the end of 2025.
The filing, reported November 13, 2025, put Intel Oregon's total job cuts for the year above 3,000 and brought its local headcount down to about 18,000. KOIN and OPB both covered the notice; by early 2026 Intel's Oregon payroll had continued to shrink.
